I was told...
Where one journey ends...
Another begins...
Is this the end to my journey...?
Is my unwritten story finished...?
The story of a girl who found love...
Through the heart of a Man...
Who was trapped as a child...
And gave it up...
For a family...
What matters more...
A love so strong it could last for Eternity...
Or the happiness of a family that would last a lifetime...
That love was the best thing that happened to me...
But I let it go...
For a family...
That in the end...
I lost...
Loving Rain was the only thing that was right...
In all I've done...
Now I can hardly remember him...
At the time...
The power of choice was mine...
But I let someone else chose for me...
And.. I shined... She let me shine...
Remedy chose to give me happiness..
To give me everything I wanted...
But... it wasn't what I wanted...
Deep inside...
I wanted love...
I wanted the person who was always by my side...
The Man who made me shine and let me soar...
Rain...
But my say doesn't matter now...
That’s the consequence of a choice...
It's the result and how... in life...
We live and learn from mistakes....
I never got to say goodbye to Rain...
To think I won't see those eyes...
Makes it so hard not to cry....
I am a Fallen Angel...
Destined to fly...
Broken and crazy...
But I will not cry...

Really strong opening. And I love the last lines. But I will not cry...

Your soul has a single basic function—The act of valuing. Yes, or No, I wish or I do not wish. You can’t say yes without saying I. There’s no affirmation without the one who affirms. In this sense everything to which you grant your love is yours ~Ayn Rand

Words are interesting. Espeically when you make up new ones.
